Yaduveer Gopalraj Urs seen sitting in the lap of Pramoda Devi Wadiyar, who whispered his new name “Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar” thrice completing the adoption process, late Srikanta Datta Narasimharaja Wadiyars sister Indrakshi Devi and her husband Rajachandra, who undertook the adoption process on behalf of Pramoda Devi Wadiyar, are seen seated, the royal adoption ceremony took place at the Amba Vilas Palace in Mysuru on Monday 23rd February 2015

Yaduveer Gopal Raj Urs, 22 years old, was formally adopted as the heir to Wadiyar dynasty, the erstwhile rulers of Mysuru Yaduveer, grandson of Princess Gayathri Devi, is the eldest daughter of the last Maharaja of Mysuru Sri Jayachamarajendra Wadiyar, is pursuing his BA at Boston in United States, he was rechristened Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar at the hour long adoption ceremony, Yaduveer arrived at the specially erected mantapa in the Kalyana Mantapa of the Palace accompanied by his parents Tripura Sundari Devi and Swarup Anand Gopal Raj Urs, in Mysuru on Monday 23rd February 2015
